1. Scope
This policy applies to the Stable Diffusion iOS and iPadOS app, its generation gateway, and product support pages operated under the AI Studio name. It does not replace the privacy terms of Apple or an AI processing provider.
2. Information we do not require
You can use the app without creating an account. We do not require your name, email address, phone number, social profile, contacts, or advertising identifier. We do not sell personal information, serve behavioural advertising, or perform cross-app tracking.
3. Information processed to provide the service
- Prompts and settings. Text prompts, selected styles, model choices, output settings, and operation parameters are sent only when you request an AI operation.
- Source files. Reference images, images selected for editing or enhancement, and object images selected for 3D generation are transmitted only for the requested processing.
- Generated results. Result files pass through our gateway so they can be delivered to the app and saved locally.
- Pseudonymous service data. A random installation identifier, verified App Store transaction state, credit usage, timestamps, and basic technical error data may be processed to enforce subscriptions, prevent abuse, and keep the service reliable.
- Support information. If you email support, we receive the address and contents you choose to provide.
4. Why we process this information
We process the minimum information needed to perform requested operations, deliver files, verify access, calculate credits, investigate failures, protect the service, respond to support requests, and comply with legal obligations. We do not use your prompts or source files to build an advertising profile.
5. AI providers and other recipients
Requested content may be transmitted to the model provider selected for that operation. The currently supported provider is Stability AI. Additional providers such as OpenAI or Google may be introduced as optional models and will be identified in the app before use. Apple processes App Store purchases and subscription records. These providers process information under their own terms and privacy policies.
Do not submit highly sensitive personal information or content you do not have permission to process. Selecting a source file and starting an operation instructs the app to transmit that file to the displayed processing service for that operation.
6. Storage and retention
Finished images and 3D files are stored in the app’s private device storage until you export or delete them. Removing the app may remove this local library. Our gateway is designed to keep uploaded files and result buffers only long enough to process and deliver the request. AI providers may apply their own limited security, compliance, or abuse-prevention retention periods.
Pseudonymous subscription and credit records are retained while needed to provide an active entitlement, resolve disputes, prevent abuse, or meet legal obligations. Support correspondence is retained only as long as reasonably needed to answer and document the request.
7. Security
Data is transmitted using encrypted connections. API credentials remain on the server and are not embedded in the app. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we use reasonable safeguards appropriate to the nature of the information processed.
8. Your choices and rights
You choose whether to submit a prompt or source file. You can delete local creations from the app, remove the app to clear its private local storage, manage the subscription through Apple, or contact us about access, correction, deletion, restriction, or objection rights that apply in your region. Because the app has no user account, we may need a transaction or installation reference to locate a record without collecting additional identity information.
9. Children
The service is not directed to children below the minimum digital consent age in their region. Do not knowingly submit a child’s personal information without the authority and consent required by applicable law.
10. International processing and changes
Providers may process data in countries other than your own using contractual and legal safeguards where required. We may update this policy when services, providers, or legal requirements change. The effective date above identifies the current version.
